Projects

I feel privileged to be involved with some path breaking projects in the field of literary, art, empowerment and environment.

I deeply resonate with the feminine dimension within us and love to work on projects that become a catalyst for transformation and invoke inner warrior energy.

AIM Literary Festival, UK

I am the co-curator of the AIM Literary Festival. One of its kind in-person event dedicated to empowering diverse voices and encouraging inclusivity in the publishing industry, AIM Literary Festival by Author In Me is celebrating its fourth year of inspiring storytellers of all ages. AIM Literary Festival (ALF) has built a reputation since 2020 for stimulating powerful dialogue across the publishing industry and sparking change. Programme is inclusive but resonates, particularly, with South Asian communities. ALF expanded in 2023 to feature nationally renowned writers and industry professionals sharing knowledge through inspirational talks, panel debates and workshops.

Storywriting  Mentor

Being an ardent student of life, I am a keen observer and deep empath. I truly believe in the power of stories and their ability to transform lives. It is my good fortune that I have been able to turn this passion into my work through my publishing company, Author In Me. Over years, I have worked with hesitant writer, young writer and enthusiast writers and mentored them through conceptualising, structuring and narrating their story. My favourite projects involve documenting life stories as memoirs and coffee table book of elderly people by interviewing them and documenting their experiences in words.

The Happy Tree Moment

Happiness is truly contagious. Happy thoughts, hope, smile and positive vibrations have a way of spreading like a distant fragrance. The thing about happiness is that the wider it spreads, the stronger it vibrates and eventually all those in the chain of spreading happy thoughts elevate and enter a state of bliss. We are connected as humans and our joys and pain are connected too. With this thought, on the new year day 2021, I initiated a small project from my front garden by harnessing on the abundant energy of the magnificent nature. I expanded on the warmth and love that oozes from the tree on my garden to transform it into THE HAPPY TREE and the result was astounding!  Over years, people from France, India, Canada, Berlin, Africa and Belgium have joined me in creating a Happy Tree. The Happy Tree was also installed at the AIM Literary Festival 2022 at the Nehru Centre, the cultural wing of High Commissioner India in the UK.

The moment of triumph came when I was invited to be part of “The Happy Tree” inauguration on April 6 by a happiness coach, Christine Delmar, and the Mayor of Forcalquier, a French town in Provence. The Montreal ‘Happiness Festival’ has included decorating a street with Happy Tree as part of their ceremony.

I would like people, schools, corporates, and care homes to join us in creating a Happy Tree and help me spread oneness and harmony in these tough times. I encourage people to connect with nature and fuel life in the barren branches of trees with their positive thoughts.

The Kali Moment

The Kali Moment initiated after I published my debut book, The Voice of Kali when I realised that numerous experiences are embedded within a moment and stored as memory imprints in our minds. Some moments can go beyond our senses and shift our consciousness to a new dimension. These may come after experiencing extreme emotions of joy or pain. Both scenarios can unlock the dormant wisdom within us. Often we transit between the new understanding and old patterns of fear, set belief or ignorance.

The Kali moment is that moment when you fearlessly accept the truth as it is and establish the new knowledge in your essence by connecting with your inner warrior. The moment when you awaken and are willing to look beyond what you can see to understand what your soul senses. The moment when you are ready to embrace the depth of darkness in search of the light.

The Kali moment is my endeavour to document transformational stories of people who chose to make the darkest moment in their life, a moment of triumph. I hope to inspire people from all cultures and walks of life through these real life stories.
